Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions set out important information about becoming a FLOWGA member. Please be sure to read these terms and conditions carefully before you join. The terms of this agreement nullify anything that you may have been told by anyone. If you have been told anything different from what is contained in these terms, then you should discuss this with us before agreeing. The headings in this agreement are provided for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of these terms. If you have any questions, please ask us prior to agreeing to these terms. The terms and conditions of our studio may change from time to time and you will always be able to see the most up-to-date terms and conditions here.
1. Membership Agreement
- When you purchase a membership or service from us you agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement.
- You agree that the information contained in this agreement outlines the complete agreement between you and us.
- If any part of this agreement becomes invalid or discontinued you agree that the remaining parts will continue to be valid.
- If FLOWGA does not enforce its rights under this agreement that does not mean that we are waiving those rights. Our rights under this agreement may still be enforced.
2. Bookings and Cancellations
- We highly recommend that you pre-book your classes online to reserve your mat.
- We have a strict no late-entry policy for safety reasons. There are no exceptions. If you are late to class, you will not be allowed in and you will lose your class credit. Please arrive ten minutes before the start of class.
- Our booking schedule opens 30 days in advance.
- Cancellations must be made at least 4 hours prior to class start time to receive class credit back into your account. If you cancel less than 4 hours prior to class start time for any reason, you will lose your class credit.
- No cancellations and/or refunds for workshops and special events.
- All classes and workshops purchased are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
- If you book a class but fail to attend, you will forfeit your class credit. If you are on a monthly unlimited membership and fail to attend a pre-booked class, you will be charged a late cancel/no-show fee of $100 HKD. Repeat offenders will be charged at a progressive rate.
3. Introductory Offers
- The introductory offer is valid for one week (7 days) inclusive of the date of your first studio visit. For example, if your first studio visit is on Monday, the offer is valid from that Monday to the following Sunday.
- The introductory offer will activate when you book your first class.
- The introductory offer is available for use by one person only and is non-transferrable.
- The introductory offer cannot be suspended or extended.
- The introductory offer is non-refundable.
- The introductory offer (if not used) will expire six months after the date of purchase.
4. Class Packs
- Class packs are valid for the period indicated on the website.
- Class packs will activate on the date of your first booking using the pack.
- Class packs can only be used by one person and are non-transferable.
- Class packs cannot be suspended or extended.
- Class packs are non-refundable.
5. Monthly Unlimited Memberships
- When you enter into a Monthly Unlimited Membership agreement, you agree to be charged the recurring monthly fee for a period of 12 months. Please note that the period may differ for certain promotional memberships or purchases.
- Your 12-month membership will activate on the date that you purchase the membership.
- The Monthly Unlimited Membership has a minimum commitment of 3 months. After the initial 3-month period, the membership can be terminated in accordance with the terms in 5.4 below.
- If you terminate your Monthly Unlimited Membership and sign up for a Monthly Unlimited Membership a second time, you must commit to a 12-month term. Your second Monthly Unlimited Membership can only be terminated after the full 12 months. This condition overrides any other term and condition in this membership agreement.
- Monthly membership fees that have been deducted are non-refundable.
5.1. Monthly Unlimited Membership Payments
- The monthly fee will be charged via autopay on the monthly anniversary of the day that your membership activated. For example, if you activated your membership on 20 February, the monthly fee will be deducted on the 20th of each month thereafter.
- We reserve the right to increase the monthly fee after the initial 12-month period and will provide you with at least one month’s prior written notice if this is the case. Please note that the period may differ for certain promotional memberships or purchases.
- We reserve the right to charge reasonable administration fees for members whose payments fail on a regular basis.
- We reserve the right to terminate memberships for persons who fail to respond to correspondence from us regarding failed payments.
5.2. Transferring Your Monthly Unlimited Membership
- You can transfer your membership to another person, at any time.
- An administration fee of $500 HKD will apply to all transfer requests.
5.3. Monthly Unlimited Membership Suspensions
- You are not able to suspend or terminate your membership within the first 3 months.
- After the first 3 months, you are able to suspend your membership for a minimum of 2 weeks and up to a maximum of 2 months/60 days in a 12-month period. Please note that you may not be able to suspend certain promotional memberships or purchases.
- A minimum of one week’s notice must be given via a written note either in person to the studio or via email to info@flowga-studio.com. WhatsApp messages are not permitted.
- If you are unable to attend and utilize your membership on a temporary basis due to injury or illness, you are able to suspend your membership for up to a maximum of 1 month/30days in a 12-month period.
- If you suspend your membership for any reason, your membership will be extended for the same period of the suspension.
- Please also note that suspending your membership will change the date that the monthly fee is deducted from your bank account/credit card.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that your membership details are accurate and up to date, including all contact details and nominated bank or credit card details for payments.
5.4. Monthly Unlimited Membership Terminations
- You can terminate your Monthly Unlimited Membership at any time after the initial 3-month period. Please note that this right does not apply if you terminated your previous Monthly Unlimited Membership before the end of the 12-month period.
- A minimum of one week’s notice must be given via a written note either in person to the studio or via email to info@flowga-studio.com. WhatsApp messages are not permitted.
- If you are unable to continue your membership on a prolonged basis due to injury or illness, we will terminate your membership with immediate effect with a valid medical note.
6. Access to the Studio
- Members must be at least 18 years old to attend classes.
- Please be sure that you are wearing suitable attire for your classes.
- Lockers are provided for you at our studio and you agree that you leave your valuables at your own risk. Lockers are not to be used to store personal belongings when you are not in the studio. Any lockers that are left locked overnight will have all belongings removed.
- Any belongings left behind will be kept in lost property by the studio for a maximum of one week after which time they will be given to charity.
- Mobile phones are not allowed in hot classes.
7. Use of Studio Facilities
- It is your responsibility to use our studio equipment and facilities with respect and care. If you are unsure of how to use anything please let a staff member know.
- We have the right to remove or replace any equipment at our discretion.
- We reserve the right to change, cancel or delete classes from our schedule at our discretion without notice.
- Memberships and packs will not be extended if we decide to close the studio for periods of refurbishment or holidays for up to and including 5 consecutive days. No refunds or reduction in fees apply
.- We reserve the right to close the studio for periods of refurbishment or holiday periods. If we decide to close the studio for more than 5 consecutive days, you may request an extension on your membership or pack without extra charge.
8. Medical or Physical Conditions
- It is your responsibility to let us know if you have any medical or physical conditions that may affect your participation in class.
- If you have a medical or physical condition, it is your responsibility to ensure that you have permission from your doctor or treating practitioner to participate in our classes. You accept that we are not medical practitioners and cannot give you any advice on your medical or physical condition and your ability to participate in our classes.
- By agreeing to these membership terms, you acknowledge that you are not aware of any medical or physical conditions that may prevent you from participating in our classes. If your medical or physical condition changes, it is your responsibility to let us know.
9. Release
- You acknowledge that you have agreed to the liability waiver that was provided to you upon booking your initial class at our studio.
- You agree that participating in class involves a risk of minor and major injury, soft tissue injury, broken bones and joint injuries and that you practice at your own risk.
- You agree to practice safely and that you will ask for assistance when needed.
- You agree that we will not be liable for any personal items that are damaged, lost, or stolen.
- You agree that we are not responsible or liable for any parking fines incurred while you are participating in classes.
- You agree that you will be liable for costs of repairs and replacement of equipment damaged by yourself to any of our equipment or facilities.
10. Violation of Rules and Regulations
- It is our right to change or vary these terms and conditions and our policies from time to time.
- Any violation of these terms and conditions gives us the right to cancel, suspend or terminate your membership effective immediately at our discretion.
- We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone into the studio or to any classes for any reason, including persons who have purchased a pack or membership.
- We reserve the right to cancel, terminate or suspend access to the studio to anyone who breaches these terms and conditions without warning or notice.
