Why hot yoga at FLOWGA?

We love a good sweat and the goodness that comes with practicing in a heated room. While we commonly associate hot yoga classes with Bikram, known for its 26 postures practiced in a 40-degree room, there are a multitude of hot yoga practices that are dynamic and can shake you to the core.

Set in the heart of Hong Kong’s bustling Central district, at FLOWGA, our hot yoga classes are all hot power vinyasa sessions set to loud, upbeat music and practiced in a dark candlelit room. Our signature Sweat n’Flow is, as its name suggests, a constant flow that links your breath and movement to music. It’s fast, it’s loud, it’s sweaty, and it’s done in a 38°C room.

We cater to those who love a good, sweaty workout, and those who are not afraid to get messy and are willing to drop that ego at the door and do what feels good for their body. Once you enter our hot yoga studio, you will be transformed out of Hong Kong’s iconic financial district in Central and into our haven tucked in the heart of Lan Kwai Fong. FLOWGA is fun, down-to-earth, loud and bold. Here at FLOWGA, we are not afraid to push our students to the edge mentally and physically. We teach our students to stay centered and to challenge themselves in the hopes that what they learn on the mat can be taken into their everyday life. We want their hour at FLOWGA to be the best hour of their day.  We want our yoga studio in Central to become their go-to place in Hong Kong, where they can push their limits and enjoy a heart-racing and adrenaline-pumping workout.

Feel the flow

The flows in our hot yoga studio will challenge you like you have never been challenged before. You will come out of the room feeling flushed, sweaty, and messy, and more energized than before. HK’s summer heat will be a breeze in comparison to the hot yoga flows in our studio in Central. Don’t let that scare you away though; our heating panels are state-of-the-art infrared panels. This type of heating emits heat that allows you to breathe without feeling stuffy (or too hot).

A health haven for everyone

Practicing in infrared heat has its benefits - it helps increase blood circulation, enhance your immune system, reduce joint pain and inflammation and increase flexibility. The heated room adds to the physical effort required to get into each pose but also allows you to get deeper, helping you build strength and also length. Each flow will be curated with a playlist that will leave you invigorated; each of our hot yoga classes creates an opportunity to unlock your unlimited potential in one of HK’s premier and fastest-growing yoga studios.

As much as we love a good sweat and want to challenge ourselves, we need to listen to our bodies. While sweating, we lose liquids, so being hydrated is essential. Hydrate before, during, and after. At the end of the day, this is your journey, your practice! Discover unlimited possibilities when you challenge yourself and push yourself to the edge with our dynamic hot yoga classes in Hong Kong’s business hub of Central. Looking forward to getting sweaty and messy with you really soon!
